Wisconsin Public Safety is an independent non-profit agency dedicated to documenting public safety incidents, events and departments in the state.
The agency is primarily responsible for providing photography of incidents and public safety events, digital imaging, portraits and ceremonial coverage such as promotional ceremonies, service recognition, special events and other requests from public safety agencies.
Funding for Wisconsin Public Safety is composted almost entirely from donations from individuals.
The agency is led by Superintendent Asher Heimermann. In addition to overall management, Superintendent Heimermann is responsible for the day-to-day operations including incident photography.
Incident Response of Wisconsin (IRWI) was established in 2012 to increase public awareness of the critical services provided by emergency personnel, using photography to promote training events and provide photojournalistic coverage of responses to area emergency incidents.
The Incident Response Photographer will respond to any incident involving police or fire departments in Sheboygan County (MABAS Division 113) as well as Eastern Wisconsin.
